My love of photography & film began by documenting my friends and performers in fringe LGBTQ+ nightclubs in Australia. The countless rolls of film and hours of video tape earned me an opportunity to study in London, and led to a life between East London and the East Village, NYC.

Community is a regular theme in my work, pointing my lens at stories where otherness and kinship intersect, mirroring my own queer story of feeling like an outsider, before finding a tribe that embraced and celebrated me.

My curiosity in the human condition and desire to work with empathy, has recently drawn me to study psychotherapy and counselling. This has impacted my approach to creative projects, by always leading with understanding and encouraging the authenticity of the sitter to emerge.

I strive to make each project and team reflect my values, with a diverse representation of gender, race and sexuality.
